I learned from training, to say NO and to explain why, and help them get along with each other.  We practiced role playing to know what to do when they are breaking the rules...Nathan F.

Caring about kids in important because when they get hurt you care about them.  The first word you say to them is STOP!  Being a Peace Maker is very important because if there wasn't any Peace Makers there wouldn't be any safety guards...Matt C.

Ms. Chris trained the Fourth graders for Peace Makers.  They discussed playground rules and what to do when the rules get broken.  The Fourth graders then role played incidents that may happen and how they would react to them.

You can't let any kid hurt themselves or someone else.  We have to let them know that we are there to help them.  Being a Peace Maker is a big responsibility.  You have to be nice to the kids and you have to help them if they get hurt...Nolan S.

What I learned about Peace Makers was that you have to be nice and respect each other.  You have to stop little kids before they do something bad...Travis

I learned how to be a Peace Maker.  I learned how to break up a fight and where to go if someone gets hurt.  I learned that kids are like candy.  Some are sweet and some are sour...everyone is different...Alan B.

The first thing you say is STOP!  If someone is really hurt you need to get the teacher.  If they have a little bump you can give them a HUG.  Never put the little ones on your back, you might get hurt...Lauren P.

If you see someone fighting you immediately say STOP!  the rule is NO fighting.  We want everyone to be safe...Maeve L.
